even in the chaos of
disappointment
anger
turmoil
dismay
embarrassment
uncertainty
hurt
hunger
fear
and
pain,
they always manage
to find room
for love.

And in that love, peace. I’m so there, Jeanne. With so much love to give, still. xo
that makes me smile, sugar. xoxo
i love this, the truest truth ever.
i don’t know how it happens, i only know that it happens.
OH! I love this ne!
so pretty, and so full of love..
~smile~
why is it I want to break into song?
sugar, you make me smile . . . but you tube does not. for some reason, i can get to the moulin rouge elephant love medley (i love that movie, but don’t remember that song), but the video will not play. i don’t even get the clickable arrow to get it started. that’s happened a couple of times over the past few days. sigh. i guess figuring this out will give me something to do tomorrow.)
okay, got it fixed! thanks for that link – it was fun. and the perfect bedtime lullaby.
So beautiful.Needed these words today. Thank you.
That happens to me often, and I love it every time it does. So glad you dropped by and found a little nugget for your pocket.
Love really is the heart of a woman isn’t it?
I’m imagining a group of women, sitting around a stone fire pit in some long ago cave. They’ve worked hard all day just to survive – for real – and yet, they sit side by side, with hide-wrapped babies in their arms, and neanderthal husbands dreaming of great hunting feats. These mothers, sisters, grandmothers, and aunts sit before the fire and “find room” to share what amounts to a prayer of love and hope and peace for themselves and future generations, not really even knowing that there will be future generations.
Such a lovely, enticing image, Sugar. There’s an entire story in your comment. Thank you. I’ll carry this with me throughout the day and have a better day because of it.
Ahead and around–we, thankfully, surround each other.
aren’t we, though? it’s a grand community. grand, i tell you.
