My best ad was Dove as well – I love their work and the statement they are making!

I love that Dove ad. It makes my heart ache. And the pop secret one makes me laugh. Thank you for providing the balance. May 2010 bring you much joy!

i admire dove (whatever their company name) so much for doing these ads. it’s not enough to erase or distract from everything else, but it’s a damn fine start.

The Dove video originally came out a couple of years ago, I think, but I always seem to come across it every 6 months or so {via blogs, or facebook). It is truly eye opening, and leads us to finally understand how the media attempts to make us “need” products to make us pretty. When they know darn well that the majority of us, even if we did purchase all the expensive make-up and hair styling projects, will never ever ever look like their models.

It is a sad world when children as young as 7 are being exposed to this type of marketing. I applaude Dove for taking us behind the scenes.

Like Emma mentioned, the pop secret one makes me laugh to! I had never scene this one before, thank you for posting! 🙂
