The Engineer and The Artist: Trees

“We need to take some trees down before they fall on the house,” he says.
As he points to this:

Trees4

and this:

Trees5

and this:

Trees6

I see this:

Trees2

and this:

Trees1c

and this:

Trees1d

And yet again, we look at the same thing
differently.

Jeanne Hewell-Chambers (who some declare got thunked up side the head one too many times as a child)
is still getting used to her husband (the retired engineer)
being home 24/7.

SOme how I know in my bones that the power of perspective is one of those things that I am suppose to respect.
    ~laughing~
but some days my bones ache and I adore my rose colored rhinestone studded glasses…
    ~grin~
( I also looked and saw inspiration for some mugs!
Stay tuned! Laughing like a mad women…)

I recognize the dilemma. It’s all about function (he) and beauty (she). It lives at my house too.

nice to meet you, sharon. it’s nice to know someone else who speaks this language fluently . . .

Oh yes! My husband teaches and even though he does Summer School he still has several weeks of vacation left. My whole routine gets topsy turvy twisty! He gets energetic and wants to start household projects – great! Except they’re rarely the projects I had in mind. Gotta love
