on wings of love

Friendship1

for my friend
karen sharp
and other women
who find themselves in need
of gentle hugs
and heart balm:
an altar.

pansies
for thought,
blue bird
for happiness,
a clock to say
“all in good time,”
and a sparkly, boro’ed bird
to remind us that
there’s art in mending.

Awww, Sweet Jeanne  ~  You, your love and intent of help, carry us through these random emotional twists that are a genuine part of this life.  You help our spirits arise, our heads to lift up, even as our bodies stay pinned to the earth. murky, mire, confusion, twisted pain, fog, veils…our path, necessary as some of it might be  –  we are blessed to have the support, the wisdom offered, that helping hand, to make the passage easier.

Seems to me,as we recognize our own power, the liberty to ask for – to accept the help offered —  all is easier, all is better  –  we evolve when we share.

Jeanne, You truly are our Fairy Godmother, leading, helping, encouraging –  I especially love your winks, with that special sparkle that shows us the knowledge, we held all along.   xo

well now that’s funny, sugar, cause i think of you as the most wise, loving, caring, supportive woman i know. do you have any idea how much light you shine in this world? do you have any idea how much you mean to me and so many others? your presence is a gift to us all. xo

    wow.

I can feel the repose, the calm, the trust. Tangibly. I can feel the knot in my solar plexus ease. I can feel my breath deepen, loosen, open.

    Heart balm indeed.

Quite concrete, quite tangible. Much more than just a photograph, this altar does true magic, true healing.

    Thank you for this gift.

it’s an altar that begged to be born. and it had your name on it from the very start, sugar. xoxo

    a clock to say

    “all in good time,”

Yes. I need to be told this over and over. I’m horribly impatient.
