Life is  Too Short To Be Ordinary

In 1996, The 70273 Project Founder Jeanne Hewell-Chambers wrote her first book – Life is Too Short To Be Ordinary: 365 Ways to Live More Creatively At Home, At Work, & Everywhere In Between. In the fall of 2017, Jeanne found one last box of those books – all in excellent, new, mint condition – and while supplies last, she’s selling them to benefit The 70273 Project. Divided into months, there’s kindling for ways to step outside of your box for every day of the year, and at the end of the calendar year, what better time to  procure a book for yourself and to go under the tree for others. Oh, and she’ll autograph them for you if you’ll just leave a message in the space provided when placing your order.

Note: As of 13 December 2018, there are only 31 copies of Life is Too Short to be Ordinary left, and when they’re gone, they’re gone, so be one of the first to make your donation of $30 or more per book to receive as many copies as you want. Be sure to include your email address so we can thank you for your donation. We’ll let you know when the package ships and attach a tax receipt and photo of the book ready to be printed and wrapped if needbe.

Art Quilt: Apocrypha 3

Nancy, the mentally disabled sister-in-law of The 70273 Project Founder Jeanne Hewell-Chambers, is easily overlooked and often shoved aside in a world where everything is seen in terms of black and white, where metaphor is a foreign language, where there is only one right answer. Since June 2012 Nancy draws, and Jeanne stitches her drawings. This is drawing #11 from Nancy’s third set of drawings, and the quilt is hand stitched and machine quilted. Note: the bamboo hanger has some imperfections . . .  just like Jeanne and Nancy.
